BS"D Do we know G-d, or do we believe in G-d? If we believe in G-d, G-d may be inspirational, a relief, a hope and perhaps even educational - but that's it. If we have a question with a real need for solid validity on which to base an answer; where or how to educate a child, dating questions, moral issues-belief just doesn't cut it. G-d may inspire, but please don't mix in to critical issues. To invest life, years, pain, to guide children in direction or couples in tough choices, to make life or death decisions or build public policy, we must know G-d - for certain. With this blog I hope to introduce ideas leading to a better, clearer, more educated knowledge of G-d - an intellectual awareness of G-d's existence. I call it "conversations" because much of the inspiration and materiel for this is from many conversations with some of the most thoughtful and insightful people I have met, the Medical, PhD and psychology students At Einstein and Fercauf. Disclosure: The material presented here is not my own. Even the inspiration to study it is not to my credit nor the thousands of hours of discussion honing the ideas, structure and presentation. All of these were born of the inspiration, direction and love from the Lubavitcher Rebbe. It is my deepest hope to share and expose the life and warmth of Judaism which he exuded.
